whole abdomen was occupied by fibroid in uterus

Patient has complained of severe abdominal pain. When we have done sonography we found 18cm fibroid in uterus. In MRI report whole abdomen was occupied by fibroid in uterus. We have done surgery for removal of fibroid and we have removed 5.2 kg fibroid from body. It was unique surgery for any Gynecologist because removal of 5.2 kg tumour was always challenging . There is no need of any blood transfusion. Patient discharged within 2 days, So we saved life of patient as well as her uterus by doing our best.
